Atlas
I really like how the Atlas looks. Every vein and wrinkle is there, and it stands up on its own. But the Medium is 9 inches around, and in three tries I only ever got a little of it in. Gorgeous toy, wrong size for me.

It looks fantastic. But at 9 inches around, the Medium was too big for me all three times we tried it, and I never got more than a little of it in. That's the size, not the toy, and Daniel picked the size. Unless you want to be stretched, start with the XS.
The Atlas is beautifully made, and I'm keeping it. But the Medium we tested is 9 inches around, almost twice the average penis, and it was too big for me all three times. I never got far with it, and I never came with it. That's the size we picked, not the toy. If you want a realistic dildo to use, get the XS, which is 7 inches around and $65.95. If you want to be stretched, the Medium and up are made for exactly that.
Per-tester scores — anatomy matters, so we score separately on purpose.
- The veins and wrinkles are gorgeous, and we found no mold seams
- Smelled of nothing, even fresh out of the wrap
- Stands up straight on its own
- Not sticky after washing
- One shape in five sizes, from 7 to 17.5 inches around
- Plain brown box, nothing on it
- The Medium is 9 inches around, almost twice the average penis
- Too big for me all three times, and never comfortable all the way
- I was a little sore the next day
- Once it ships, it's yours unless it's defective
- Poured to order, so it won't arrive this week
Out of the box
The Atlas shipped with our Perfect Penis, both in one plain brown box. It was shrink-wrapped, and the base has a holographic "Handmade in USA" sticker with a serial number.
I couldn't find a seam from the mold anywhere, and it smelled of nothing. The veins, the wrinkles and the head all look real. Of everything about the Atlas, the look is what I like best.
It's also enormous. Standing next to a soda can, it's wider than the can.
Nine inches around
Ours is the Medium, 7.5 inches insertable and 9 inches around the middle. Next to the Perfect Penis Medium that's half an inch shorter and two inches thicker, and two inches doesn't sound like a lot until you hold it.
Mr Hankey's calls the Medium "a manageable introduction to larger toys". It wasn't one for me. The size I'd point most people to is the XS, which is 5.5 inches insertable and 7 inches around the middle, the same girth as the Perfect Penis Medium, for $65.95.
Ours is 75% soft, the same mix as our Perfect Penis, and when I squeeze them they feel just as firm to me. My husband says the Atlas is firmer, and he has the math for it below. It does stand up straight on its own.
The math I should have done first
I picked the Medium. It's the second-smallest of the five sizes, and the shop calls it a manageable introduction. That was the wrong call, and the numbers would have told me so if I'd run them before I ordered.
The average erect penis is about 4.6 inches around. The Perfect Penis Medium is 7, which already fills 2.3 times that cross-section. The Atlas Medium is 9 inches around, almost twice the average, and because the cross-section grows with the square of the circumference, it fills almost four times the space. Between the two Mediums, the two extra inches around come to 65 percent more cross-section.
- 1Average erect penis 4.6 in around, the baseline
- 2Perfect Penis Medium and Atlas XS 7 in around, 2.3× the average cross-section
- 3Atlas Medium, the one we tested 9 in around, 3.8× the average cross-section
Sasha says they feel equally firm, and for the silicone she's right. Both are Hankey's 75% soft mix, so a finger pressed into the surface meets the same material. The whole toy is another matter. In the Perfect Penis review I treated the shaft as a solid rod, whose stiffness rises with thickness to the fourth power and falls with length cubed. By that math the Atlas Medium is about three times as stiff as the Perfect Penis Medium when you push on the tip, or closer to two and a half times if you measure at the narrower part near the base. That's why it stands so straight.
So if you liked the Perfect Penis Medium and want the Atlas, get the XS. It's the same 7 inches around the middle as the Perfect Penis Medium, slimmer at the head and near the base, and 2.5 inches shorter. It's the one I should have ordered.
Three tries
We tried it three times. The first two were just me, taking it slowly to see how far it would go, and the third was with Daniel, during sex. It was too big every time. I only ever got a little of it in, it was never comfortable all the way, and I didn't come with it. The third time we put it aside and finished with the Perfect Penis.
What the Atlas gives you is pressure, a lot of it, and the feeling of being stretched. For me that got a bit extreme, and I was a little sore the next day.
If stretching is your thing, or your partner's, I'd recommend it without a second thought. That's who this size is for. I'd just rather have a toy I can take all of.
Harness and mounts
No harness yet. If you want one, Mr Hankey's lists a 3-inch ring for the Medium, 2.5 inches for the XS and nothing for the bigger sizes. A Vac-U-Hole for machines and Vac-U-Lock mounts costs $4.95 on every size but the XS, and ours doesn't have one.
Easy to wash
Warm water and mild soap do the job, as Mr Hankey's says, and it doesn't go tacky afterwards. It does pick up some lint, about as much as our Perfect Penis, since it's the same silicone, so it's worth keeping in a bag. Use water-based lube with it, and our cleaning guide covers the rest.
I really like how it looks. The detail is beautiful, and it's well made in every way I could check.
But the Medium was too much for me all three times. I never got more than a little of it in, and the last time we gave up on it and switched to the Perfect Penis. That's on the size, not on how it's made.
If you love feeling stretched, buy it. If you don't, get the XS.
What I'd buy instead
For me, in the Medium, no. I wouldn't have paid $149.95 for it myself. I'm keeping it, though.
The sizes run from the XS at $65.95 through the Medium at $149.95, the LG/XL at $199.95 and the XXXL at $249.95, to the 4XL at $389.95, which is 17.5 inches around. Mr Hankey's won't take a toy back unless it's defective, so the size you order is the size you keep. Size down if you're unsure.
For size play, the Atlas is a good shape to grow into, since one design covers 7 to 17.5 inches around. Our size play ranking has other ways to work up, like SquarePeg's Egg Plug in nine sizes. For a realistic dildo that fit me, it's the Perfect Penis.
- You or your partner are into stretching
- You want a realistic dildo with beautiful detail
- You'll start with the XS, which is 7 inches around
- You want one shape to size up in, from 7 to 17.5 inches around
- You want an everyday realistic dildo in the Medium or bigger
- You'd want to send it back if the size is wrong
- You want it by the weekend, since Hankey's pours every toy to order
I tried it three times, twice on my own and once with Daniel during sex, always vaginally and always the Medium in 75% soft. Daniel worked out the sizes and the firmness, and every measurement here is from Mr Hankey's product page on November 1, 2026. Mr Hankey's sent it for free and had no input on this review.
The XS, for most people. It's 5.5 inches insertable and 7 inches around the middle for $65.95, the same girth as the Perfect Penis Medium. Our Medium, 7.5 inches insertable and 9 around, was too big for me all three times. Go Medium or bigger only if you want to be stretched, because there's no sending it back if it's too much.
In the same mix, the silicone feels the same, and both of ours are 75% soft. The Atlas Medium is thicker, though, so the whole toy bends far less. Treated as a solid rod, it's about three times as stiff as the Perfect Penis Medium when you push on the tip, and it stands up straight on its own.
Yes, and that's what the Medium and up are for. One shape runs from 7 inches around in the XS to 17.5 inches in the 4XL, so you can step up without changing toys. Our size play ranking has more ways to work up.
On paper, yes. Mr Hankey's says the XS takes a 2.5-inch ring and the Medium a 3-inch one, and gives no ring for the LG/XL and up. Ours hasn't been in one. Add the $4.95 Vac-U-Hole if you want Vac-U-Lock mounts, on any size but the XS.
With warm water and mild soap, the way Mr Hankey's says. Ours never turned tacky after a wash. Lint sticks to it about as much as to our Perfect Penis, so keep it covered. Stick to water-based lube.
