Every toy brand we've reviewed appears once, at its review score, and the top 15 make the list. Brands with the same score are listed alphabetically. The score is the same number you'll see on that brand's review; nothing is re-scored for this page. Lube brands have their own ranking, and so do the shops that sell only kink gear, in our BDSM ranking, which scores them on a rubric of its own.
We weight product quality and design at roughly 25% each, value at about 20%, and ordering, shipping and customer service at the remaining 30%. Product quality includes material safety, which is why brands selling jelly, PVC or "cyberskin" insertables don't get near the top. Stroker sleeves are the exception. Most are SuperSkin or TPE (thermoplastic elastomer)A soft, cheap material used for most stroker sleeves. It's porous, so it can't be fully sanitized, and a sleeve lasts about a year of regular use. For everything else, a big retailer is the next best thing. For brands you can't buy direct, a big retailer like Lovehoney, which has a 100-Day Pleasure Guarantee on one item per order, paid back as store credit. Only from listings sold by the company that makes the toy. Amazon stopped pooling identical stock from different sellers for everything shipped in from March 31, 2026, so the maker's own listing ships the maker's own units. Third-party sellers are a different story: counterfeits are common there, especially for brands like Satisfyer and LELO, and you might get a knockoff that smells like a tire factory. If the "Sold by" line isn't the brand, buy direct from the brand or from a trusted retailer like Lovehoney. The few bucks you save aren't worth the risk.
Every order we've had from Mr Hankey's and Lovehoney came in a plain box with no branding, and Lovehoney bills under a generic name. We-Vibe advertises discreet shipping too.
