Air-Pulse Technology
Contactless clitoral stimulation using pulsating air pressure instead of direct vibration. Popularized by Womanizer and Satisfyer for intense orgasms.
Air-pulse (also called "pressure wave" or "suction") technology works by creating rapid pulses of air pressure around the clitoris without direct contact. The nozzle forms a seal around the clitoral hood and alternates between positive and negative pressure, stimulating the full clitoral structure including the internal portions. Womanizer invented the technology (calling it "Pleasure Air"), and Satisfyer popularized it at budget prices. LELO's version is called "SensonicTM" and uses sonic waves instead of air pulses — similar concept, slightly different mechanism. Air-pulse toys tend to produce faster, more intense orgasms than traditional vibrators for many users, though some find the sensation too focused or overwhelming.
