Sliquid vs Wicked Sensual Care

Verdict drawn from our full reviews of both brands

THE VERDICT

Sliquid for the bottle you reach for every day. Wicked for the bottles you buy for a reason. Sliquid H2O is the cleanest water-based formula we've found at any price and outlasts Wicked's Aqua before it needs reapplying; Sassy is the better anal formula. Wicked wins on variety with a purpose. Flavored lubes sweetened with stevia instead of sugar, the Simply line for allergy-prone skin, and Toy Love formulated specifically for silicone toys, all paraben-free and priced fairly. Not the cleanest formulas on the market, but the breadth is real. Everyday and anal, Sliquid. Flavored and specialty, Wicked.

PROS & CONS

SLIQUID
PROS
Zero glycerin, zero parabens, zero propylene glycol across the entire lineup
H2O is the cleanest water-based formula I've found at any price point
Sassy is thick enough for anal without feeling like craft glue
Silk hybrid gives you the best of both worlds: silicone slickness with water-based cleanup
CONS
Water-based formulas (H2O, Sassy) need reapplication more often than competitors
Premium pricing compared to drugstore brands, especially the Organics line
Silver silicone lube is good but not the top of the class against Überlube or Swiss Navy
Bottle design on the smaller sizes is plain and feels like it belongs in a pharmacy
WICKED SENSUAL CARE
PROS
Flavored lubes sweetened with stevia instead of sugar, paraben-free across the line
Aqua water-based is a reliable daily driver with clean ingredients at a fair price
Simply line uses minimal ingredients for people with sensitive skin or allergies
Toy Love is specifically formulated for silicone toy compatibility, which saves you the guesswork
CONS
Aqua dries out faster than Sliquid H2O in direct comparison, needs reapplication sooner
Some flavored options taste more like candy-scented chemicals than actual fruit
Packaging looks like it was designed for a gas station display, not a nightstand
Silicone formula is fine but unremarkable next to Überlube or even Sliquid Silver

WHO SHOULD BUY WHICH

BUY SLIQUID IF
  • You've ever had a yeast infection, UTI, or irritation after using lube and want to eliminate the most likely cause
  • You use silicone toys regularly and need a water-based lube that won't damage them
  • Clean, pronounceable ingredients are a priority and you're tired of reading chemistry labels
BUY WICKED SENSUAL CARE IF
  • You want flavored lube for oral sex that won't cause yeast infections or BV
  • You use silicone toys and want a formula specifically designed for them
  • Variety matters to you and you'd rather buy from one brand than mix and match across three

Which lasts longer, Sliquid H2O or Wicked Aqua?

Sliquid H2O. In direct comparison Wicked Aqua dries out faster and needs reapplying sooner. Both are clean-ingredient water-based lubes and both are toy-safe.

Which has better flavored lube?

Wicked. Its flavored line is sweetened with stevia rather than sugar and is the best body-safe flavored range we've tried, though some flavors taste more like candy than fruit.

Wicked, slightly, especially against Sliquid's Organics line, which costs 40-50% more than standard Sliquid. Wicked's silicone runs $12-16 and flavored options $8-15.
