Which We-Vibe Sync Should You Buy? (2026)

Every toy in this guide does the same job. It's a C-shaped vibrator worn during penetrative sex: one arm sits inside against the G-spot, the other rests on the clitoris, and the penis or strap-on goes in alongside it, so both of you feel the vibration. We-Vibe invented the shape, and the We-Vibe review covers the brand; we've had the Sync and the Chorus in our own bed, which is where most of our opinions below come from.

The trouble is that We-Vibe now sells six versions, plus a cheaper copy from its own budget brand, and the names don't tell you much. Sync, Sync 2, Sync O, Sync Go, Sync Lite, Chorus, Chorus Pro. The differences that matter come down to four things: how the inner arm holds on, how long the battery lasts, whether it survives a shower, and whether a remote comes in the box or you run it from your phone.

Prices, run times, water ratings and box contents read on we-vibe.com on October 14, 2026 (ROMP Join on Amazon). We-Vibe lists a remote in the box only for the Sync O and the two Chorus models.

Two things in that table catch people out. The Sync 2, the one most guides (ours included) send you to first, has no remote in the box: you use the buttons or the We-Vibe app. And the Sync Lite is the only We-Vibe model here rated splashproof rather than waterproof, with less than half the battery of the Sync 2.

Which One for You

**Most couples: the Sync 2 ($169).** The adjustable arms are the reason it stays put where the first Sync didn't, the battery outlasts any session you'll have, and it goes in the shower. If one of you is fine reaching for a phone or the button, it's the one to buy.

**If the Sync keeps slipping, or you want a remote: the Sync O ($179).** The inner arm is a closed silicone loop instead of a flat paddle, which is We-Vibe's answer to the toy working its way out mid-position. It's also the only Sync with a remote in the box and the longest battery of the lot, 150 minutes. Ten dollars more than the Sync 2 for both of those is the easiest upgrade in the range.

**On a budget: the Sync Go ($109), not the Sync Lite.** The Go is fully waterproof, runs 90 minutes and comes in a travel case. The Sync Lite ($99) saves you ten dollars and gives up the waterproofing and half the battery; 45 minutes is enough for a session but not for a long night. It's still the one we'd hand a couple who wants the simplest possible start, because it runs on one button.

**If you want a remote you can squeeze: the Chorus.** The remote raises the intensity the harder you squeeze, and a touch sensor reacts to your movements. It's a better toy than the Sync when it works, and the squeeze control still feels like it needs another round of development. At $219 we'd pass. At We-Vibe's $159 sale price it's the most fun one here.

**The newest: the Chorus Pro ($229).** Two motors on the clitoral side running what We-Vibe calls Fusion Wave, a haptic squeeze remote and a flexible hinge. We haven't had it in hand, so we'll only say that two clitoral motors is the first real hardware change to the shape in years.

**Just finding out if you like the idea: ROMP Join ($54.99).** ROMP is the budget brand of the company that makes We-Vibe, and the Join is the same C-shape in silicone, waterproof, with two speeds and five patterns on its buttons. If the concept doesn't work for your bodies, you've found out for a third of the price.

Getting It to Stay Put

Put it in before anything else does. Fold the arms together, slide the inner arm in until it sits against the front wall, then let the outer arm rest on the clitoris. Adjustable models want a few tries before the angle is right, and the right angle is different for every body.

Use water-based lube. All of these are silicone on the outside, and silicone lube can break down a silicone toy's surface over time. A little on the inner arm and plenty for penetration.

Missionary and doggy are where every Sync works best. Deeper angles and anything with a lot of thrusting can push it out, and no shape fixes physics; the Sync O's loop just gives up less easily. Partners with a penis sometimes notice the inner arm as extra girth, which some like and some don't, so start slow the first time.

If you're apart more than you're together, these aren't the best long-distance toys; Lovense still has the better app for that, and our long-distance guide and the Lovense vs We-Vibe comparison cover it. For everything else in couples toys, the couples guide has the rest.

WINNER: We-Vibe Sync 2
Buy the Sync 2 unless you have a reason not to. Pay ten dollars more for the Sync O if fit or a remote matters, save sixty with the Sync Go if money does, and only reach for the Chorus when it's on sale.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the We-Vibe Sync 2 and Sync O?

The inner arm and the box. The Sync 2 has an adjustable C-shape and no remote in the box (you use the buttons or the app), with up to 120 minutes of battery. The Sync O has a closed O-shaped inner loop that holds its position better, a remote in the box and 150 minutes of battery, for $179 against $169.

Is the We-Vibe Sync Lite worth it?

Only if $10 matters more than waterproofing. The Sync Lite ($99) runs up to 45 minutes and is rated IPX4, splashproof only. The Sync Go ($109) is fully waterproof (IPX7), runs 90 minutes and comes with a travel case. The Lite's one-button control is the simplest of the range.

Does the We-Vibe Sync come with a remote?

Not the Sync 2, Sync Go or Sync Lite: those use buttons and the We-Vibe app. We-Vibe lists a remote in the box for the Sync O, and the Chorus and Chorus Pro come with a squeeze remote.

Is the We-Vibe Sync waterproof?

The Sync 2, Sync O, Sync Go and Chorus are rated IPX7, so they can go in the bath or shower. The Sync Lite is IPX4, which means splashproof only.

We-Vibe Chorus or Sync?

The Chorus adds a remote you squeeze to raise the intensity and a touch sensor, and it's the more fun toy when it works. At its $219 list price the Sync 2 ($169) is the better buy; at We-Vibe's $159 sale price, get the Chorus.

Is there a cheaper alternative to the We-Vibe Sync?

ROMP Join ($54.99) is the same C-shaped idea in silicone and waterproof, from ROMP, the budget brand of the company behind We-Vibe, with two speeds and five patterns on its buttons. It's the cheapest way to find out whether a wearable couples vibrator works for you.
