IPX7 is an ingress protection rating meaning the device can withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. For sex toys, this means you can safely use it in the bath, shower, or clean it under running water without worrying about water damage. IPX7 does NOT mean you can take it scuba diving or leave it submerged indefinitely. Most rechargeable toys from reputable brands (Satisfyer, We-Vibe, LELO, Fun Factory) are at least IPX7. Toys with exposed charging ports or battery compartments are usually not waterproof at all. Always check the charging port seal before submerging — a damaged seal voids the protection.
