THE VERDICT

The Magic Wand Rechargeable does about 85% of what the Le Wand Original does, for $40 less, and hits a deeper rumble at full power. That is the case for the Magic Wand and it's a strong one. The case for Le Wand is everything around the motor. A flexible silicone head that doesn't dig, 20 speeds and 8 patterns instead of a handful of steps, a body you could leave on a nightstand, and no 20-minute auto shutoff mid-session. Raw power and value, Magic Wand Rechargeable. Control, comfort and looks, Le Wand. Under no circumstances the Magic Wand Original, whose vinyl head is porous.
