Lovense leads this category with the most reliable app and best long-distance performance. We-Vibe's app is decent but less feature-rich. Most other brands' apps are varying degrees of terrible. Key features to look for: pattern customization, music sync, video chat integration (Lovense), and whether the app requires an account (privacy concern). Long-distance mode quality varies dramatically — Lovense handles it well, most others have lag or disconnection issues. Battery drain is real; some apps kill your phone battery in 2 hours.
